Generous Giving Blesses Young Adults
Christine Bondi and her lovely group of Thirty-One saleswomen have done it again! For the second time this Christmas, dear Christine rallied her customers and others with a Thirty-One Gifts business to donate their time and their money to fund a special tribute to her sister Katie, who died by suicide. This year, the money raised in Katie’s memory was used to buy Thirty-One totes filled with a number of self-soothe items designed to support skill use in our young adults at Amberwing and our older adults in the Adult Partial Hospitalization program.
60 totes, filled with personalized notes on each of the self-soothe goodies, were delivered to Amberwing just before Christmas, allowing participants in the IOP program and the APH program to receive them in time to enjoy during the holiday season. The time and detail that went into each bag was extraordinary and sent a message to the recipient of kindness and compassion.
Below are pictures of the lovely ladies and the totes, with pictures of the treats inside.
