Troop #4537 Contributes

“Contribute” is one of my favorite skills taught at Amberwing. Few things are as powerful to counteract depression as helping someone else or giving back to the community. Both the giver and the receiver reap the benefits when a “contribute” occurs.

Thanks to the thoughtfulness of a local Brownie troop, Amberwing was on the receiving end of a generous “contribute”. Brownie troop #4537, led by Kerri Gordon and Andrea Sweeney, raised several hundred dollars to give to local groups helping youth, which included a couple hundred dollars worth of fun supplies for the Child Partial Hospitalization program. What a beautiful gift, which will enhance the groups provided to these children.
